چکیده
In this research, the three-body-type abrasive wear behavior of heat-treated multi-alloyed white cast irons, which has been used for work rolls in hot rolling stands, was investigated. Cast irons with varying C content from 1.73 to 2.34 mass% under 5 Cr, Mo, W, V each and 2 Co were prepared. After annealing, specimens hardened 1323 K 1373 austenitizing by fan air cooling. Hardened (As-H) tempered at three levels temperatures maximum hardness (THTmax), lower higher than that THTmax (L-THTmax H-THTmax, respectively). A rubber wheel tester evaluate resistance. It found relationship between loss (Wl) distance (Wd) expressed a linear function every test. heat treatment condition, rate (Rw, mg/m) value decreased as rose. As-H showed almost resistance specimens. state, lowest Rw mostly obtained The temperature provided value. best specimen 2.34%C both temperatures. lowered roughly proportion an increase hardness. However, values scattered broadly volume fraction retained austenite (V?) 10% then, gradually V? rose, irrespective temperature.

Three-body wear of different composites resins
Introduction: Low resistance of composite resins to abrasion is a primary concern in the application of these materials for posterior restorations which are prone to high occlusal loads. This study compared the wear resistance of three types of composites. Methods: In this laboratory experiment, five specimens of each of the three types of composites (z250, Heliomolar, Opallis) were prepared...
متن کاملTwo-body and three-body abrasive wear behaviour of polyaryletherketone composites
Single and multipass two-body and three-body abrasive wear behaviour of various polyaryletherketone composites have been carried out by using a pin-on-disc machine and a rubber wheel abrasion test (RWAT) rig. Abrasive wear studies were conducted under different loads and sliding distances. Comparative wear performance of all the composites at different loads shows that specific wear rate (Ko) o...

In this article, the mechanical and three body abrasive wear behavior of Bidirectional and short Kevlar fiber reinforced epoxy composites at five different fiber loading (10wt%, 20wt%, 30wt%, 40wt% and 50wt%) have been evaluated. The mechanical properties i.e. tensile strength, flexural strength, inter-laminar-shear strength, and impact strength are performed to notice the behavior of mechanica...

Original scientific paper The experiment centres on two and three body abrasion in three-phase waste-based composite systems. The composite systems abrasion resistance is defined not only by the physical-mechanical relationships of the separate phases of the composite, but also by the mutual interaction of the phases and on the matrix-filler interface. To describe the composite system abrasion ...
